Well, what can we say? For those of you who don't know, we met on Match.com in October of 2001. After e-mailing for about a week, we had our first phone call, and one week later, our first date. On Friday, November 9, we went to dinner at the Naked Fish in Newton, MA and then out to see the movie "Monsters, Inc". And pretty much, that was it, we were hooked on each other.

Although Jen was out of town for the weekend, we e-mailed all weekend and had our second date Sunday night. We met in Harvard Square for dinner and walking around, and then went back to Jen's apartment for a movie. The next day, Cory had a large red balloon delivered to Jen's office, as we had been looking at the children's book "The Red Balloon" in a children's bookstore the night before.  At that point, there was no going back - she was smitten.

Three weeks later, Cory came home with Jen to Vermont for Thanksgiving, and being the only male at dinner, he had the honor of carving the turkey. Then, Cory came to Vermont for the end of Christmas vacation to meet Jen's brother Ian from California. In April 2002, Cory and Jen went to Philadelphia to meet up with Cory's parents who were in town for a nursing conference. Then in May of 2002, we moved into our house in Littleton, Ma.
